Renovation of a single family home, in which the owners would like to have a big opening facing West, where the mountains can be seen.   Our project involved renovating an attic space to create a new balcony with breathtaking views and was covered from the rainfall. We accomplished this by raising the old West roof height and adding a new glass door to it. Throughout the renovation, we were careful to preserve the homeowner's cherished antiquarian furniture, including the table, several shelves and many collection itens. The old drywall ceiling was removed and a new wooden one was added. To accommodate their growing book collection, we designed and installed a spacious bookshelf, which now holds their extensive collection in style. The end result is a beautiful and functional space that the homeowner can enjoy for years to come.
